Stuart joined AMD in 1998 and was appointed a Director of the firm in 2001.

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Business from Edith Cowan University, is a member of CPA Australia, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

With extensive experience across large commercial enterprises, manufacturing, agriculture, and the wine industry, Stuart specialises in delivering business management and strategic planning advisory services to his clients.

Tim joined AMD in 1998 and became a Director in 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UWA, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, Registered Company Auditor, graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors and Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Australia. He also served on the BKR Worldwide Board (2013–2018). Tim leads AMD’s Audit and Assurance team, delivering external and internal audits across a wide client base, including large private companies, foreign-owned entities, cooperatives, local governments, and not-for-profits.

His expertise spans financial reporting under ASIC and Corporations Act requirements, compliance and internal audits, and accounting standards advice. He also conducts Quality Reviews for CAANZ.

Maria joined AMD in 2001 as a Graduate Auditor and was appointed Director in 2012, reflecting her long-standing commitment to the firm. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Public Practice) from Edith Cowan University, is a fellow Chartered Accountant, a registered as a Company Auditor, graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Australia. As head of AMD’s Audit and Assurance team, Maria works with clients across sectors including local government, not-for-profits, cooperatives, and large proprietary companies. She also provides expert advice on financial systems, technical accounting, and reporting.

Shane joined AMD in July 2001 as a Graduate Accountant and became a Director in July 2013. He is a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ, CPA Australia, a Chartered Tax Advisor, and a registered Tax Agent. Shane provides Business Advisory and Taxation services, with expertise in complex tax and GST matters, business structuring, and management advice. He also leads AMD’s ESG and Carbon Accounting services, helping clients navigate sustainability and compliance challenges.

He represents AMD on the BKR Asia Pacific Tax and ESG Committees and actively contributes to his community. Shane is the Treasurer of the Harvey Brunswick Leschenault Junior Football Club, a board member at Leschenault Catholic Primary School, and is involved in coaching junior sports with his three children.

Steven joined AMD in 2009 and works closely with business owners on complex tax matters, strategic planning, business structuring, and estate and succession planning. Regularly appointed to board and advisory roles, he provides guidance on director responsibilities, board governance, and performance improvement.

Steven has a strong connection to the local community and sport, and is a board member of the not-for-profit Southwest Angels, which supports emerging ventures through funding and mentorship.

Matthew joined AMD in 2011 and is a Chartered Accountant as well as a Fellow of The Tax Institute. He provides strategic business and tax advice to a diverse client base, with expertise in business restructures, financial management, and family estate planning.

He has supported clients through all stages of the business lifecycle – from establishment to growth and exit – offering specialist guidance in tax planning and structuring. Outside of work, Matthew contributes to the community as Treasurer of a local sporting organisation.

Since joining AMD in 2003, Kathy has worked across a broad range of business disciplines, providing accounting, taxation, and business advice to clients – helping businesses grow and ensuring they remain compliant.

An outstanding Chartered Accountant and Registered Company Auditor with over 20 years in public practice, Chelsea was proudly appointed Audit Director at AMD in 2025. Passionate about leadership and delivering value to her diverse client base, she works closely with grant-funded and not-for-profit organisations, large proprietary companies, Local Government authorities, Aboriginal Corporations, and financial services licensees.

Tasman joined AMD in 2009 at the Bunbury office and relocated to Geraldton in 2010, where he now leads as Director.

With over 20 years of public practice experience and a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, Tas specialises in primary production and mining-related sectors. He provides expert advice on business structures, advanced taxation, and strategic planning.

Tas supports both new and existing clients with their accounting, tax compliance, and succession planning needs.

Melissa Pascoe is a highly valued member of the AMD Tax and Advisory team and, with more than 15 years in financial services, one of our most experienced senior accountants. Based in AMD’s Geraldton office, Melissa is Geraldton born and bred, bringing her clients a deep understanding of the local business landscape, along with expertise and a strong commitment to results. She became a member of the Chartered Accountants body in February 2019.

Dean joined AMD Chartered Accountants in 1996 and was appointed as a Director of the firm in 2008.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Dean has a broad range of experience in the areas of accounting, business advisory and taxation. He has experience in dealing with complex property transactions and specialises in providing clients with business management and strategic advice.

Dean has called the Peel Region home since 2005 and was a board member of the Peel Chamber of Commerce for 6 years.

Miriam has over 20 years experience in Accounting and joined AMD Chartered Accountants in 2019 as a director. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and holds a fellowship with the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Miriam began her career with Ernst & Young as an auditor before moving into business advisory and taxation. In 2016, she relocated to the Margaret River Region and established her own accounting practice, which merged with AMD in July 2019. She has extensive experience in taxation related to property development, trades, construction, and the wine industry. Miriam is a current board member of the Margaret River Chamber of Commerce, a former Treasurer and Board Member of the Augusta Bendigo Bank, and the current WA representative on CAANZ’s Regional and Rural Sector Committee.

She brings extensive experience in accounting and taxation, with a strong focus on the tourism and wine industries – a perfect fit for our state’s South West. Passionate about community involvement, Catriona also serves as Treasurer of the Margaret River Swim Club and the Augusta branch of Bendigo Bank.
